Seems that winter is here to stay. After a couple weeks of 1-3 inch snowfalls every three days or so, we're getting somewhere between 6-10 inches today. My husband stayed home from work, but we still did school with the kids. They are always disappointed because we don't get "snow days" at our school!
On a related note, last winter during a record year of snowfall (100 inches, normal was 40), my then 13 year old son asked why we didn't have a snowblower. I looked at him and told him we didn't need one because we have 4 boys. Strangely enough, he wasn't terribly impressed by my answer! We now have 5 boys, but one isn't quite old enough to shovel yet!
